In October we made a submission to the consultation and then spoke at the inquiry into the future of library services in ACT. We spoke about the importance of libraries as a community hub, and that accessibility of the sites themselves and the information at all libraries was vitally important. We recommended that
The ACT Library Service conducts an audit of its library buildings to determine the extent to which library premises comply with the Commonwealth Disability Discrimination Act Standards for Access to Premises and principles of universal design.
