The Standing Committee on Health, Ageing and Community Services is conducting an inquiry into the Employment of People with Disabilities. The Committee is interested in understanding the factors that contribute to the attraction and retention of people with disabilities as employees, particularly in the ACT public service.

PWD ACT is making a detailed submission to this enquiry. But our submission will only have impact if it has your input and comment.

This is an important opportunity for people with disabilities to be heard and to influence their own employment outcomes.

Please give us your views by email to pwdact@shout.org.au or by calling EO on 0423 931 753 by Wednesday 19 April 2017.

Submissions close on 26 April 2017.  It is expected that a public hearing will be held in May 2017. Please note that submissions will be publically available unless otherwise indicated on the submission
