International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is a United Nations sanctioned day that aims to promote an understanding of people with disability and encourage dignity, rights and well-being. People With Disabilities ACT are helping the ACT Government to coordinate ACT events for I-Day.
We are planning an advertorial newspaper supplement for Friday 2 December 2016 in the Canberra Timesentitled Let’s Talk About Disability.
The supplement will include: a local event calendar; articles about the contributions of people with disability in arts, sports, employment, education and civic life; articles reflecting on the theme; information about events planned for the I-Day; information on goods, services and products for people with a disability; and for advertising rates and publication declines see the flyer below.
Last year’s supplement was highly successful with the most advertisers and contributors since the project launched in 2012. You can check it out here http://canberra.realviewtechnologies.com/?iid=132985
This unique feature will promote the day, educate the community, and celebrate the suppliers and supporters who assist with these needs everyday.
With relevant and quality editorial coverage, a targeted and engaged audience, and a readership of 84,000, our IDPWD feature is a valuable tool for business who work in this sector of the community.
Advertisers should contact The Canberra Times directly via Aimee Bellingham at aimee.bellingham@fairfaxmedia.com.au or on 6280 2176
